had fun

Not bad for a Sunday night (make that Monday morning at 1:30 am). Great music, mixed crowd, but not overcrowded. I had fun and no problems parking.

Very-Very Young

And lets talk about expensive WoW, at least on a Sat. night, Its a kids bar, no tables, no place to even set your drinks while you dance (if you can find the room) Drag show was a joke . . . not my kind of place, but if your str8 between 18-25 years old you may really like it . . .

very young, don't go here sunday - wednesday.

Thursday, friday and saturday are the big nights at marcellas. if you're into a younger crowd, go here. if you could do without the straight girls and the the gay drama, AVOID. if you wanna DANCE, and THAT IS IT, go, go go!! i come here to dance by myself and work it out all the time, and i just ignore the cruisers and they get the hint (however buffalo isn't cruisy to begin with so you'll be cool.)

Fun but dead

'Went to Marcella on a Sunday night with 8 friends from work, and we easily doubled the "crowd." It's a cute space, with modern lighting and some white leather couches in a lounge area that overlooks the dance floor and drag stage. Drinks were cheap and not very good, but we were there for the famous drag (including Buffalo's own Sabrina Williams, the African-American Little-Person drag queen.) The show was typical of a small town, but the audience was strange: a bunch of young girls (possibly lesbians) who gathered inches from the stage and stared dead-eyed at each of the queens, without any reaction to their efforts. Highlights: Ms. Williams, the mouth-shaped urinals in the men's room, and the TV's showing a Joel Osteen sermon over the bar during the drag show.
