*Live music with 2014 Artvoice Award winner for Best DJ: DJ John Patrick and other performance indoors and in our rear courtyard
*“Out Loud” photo booth and interactive art installations and projects
*Presentation of new LGBT mural on the side of our building at 224 Allen, supported with generous grant funding provided by Embrace Western New York. See the mural being created live by local fine artist and muralist Chuck Tingley.
*We are proud to present an interactive art installation that asks the question: What books, albums, movies, shows or songs help you feel "out loud?" What art has helped you in your journey of surviving and flourishing as part of the LGBTQ community or has helped you as an ally to become more open and understanding of the community. Responses will be collected from our guests and used as the foundation to create The WNY LGBTQ Library, a Monument to Survival at a future location to be determined. Coordinated by ELAB President, Tara Sasiadek.
*Passerby's will invited to participate in a Yarnbombing Installation taking place outside of Glow Gallery as a part of Pride weekend. Handmade looms, knitting needles and yarn will be provided to anyone who wants to add to our collaborative piece. The theme of our piece will be "Beacon", symbolic of In the Loop and Glow Gallery's role in providing a beacon for safety and hope for all LGBTQ members within Allentown and the larger Buffalo community. It is also a homage to our new mural to be created the side the building. Marissa Lehner, Chair of Community Art of ELAB, will be facilitating this project, similar to the pieces done at the WASH project.
*Pride gift shop featuring fun new inventory to help you celebrate at Sunday’s parade
*Food and drink
