This FREE event will take place on Saturday July 18 at The Evergreen Commons, 262 Georgia Street at 10am. Please RSVP by e-mail to ProudOnes@pridecenterwny.org.
"Every Hero Has a Story" features three interactive folk tales from Kenya, Puerto Rico, and Denmark. Children and their families will have fun helping The Wondermakers act out the stories and exploring the concept of heroes: What is a hero? Does a hero have to be big and strong? How can we all be heroes and help others?
"Rabbit and The Waterhole" (Kenya)
Children from the audience become the turtles who save the village's water supply.
"The Ogre" (Puerto Rico)
The little Queen Bee saves the family and the house.
"The Magical Knapsack" (Denmark)
Hans's sacrifice and kindness help everyone in the kingdom!
